100% Refund

Full refund of the package cost. No questions asked.

15–29 Days Before

75% Refund

25% cancellation fee applies. Refund processed within 7 business days.

7–14 Days Before

50% Refund

50% cancellation fee applies. Credit note option also available.

Less Than 7 Days

No Refund

Non-refundable. However, you may reschedule for a fee of ₹2,000.

Important Notes

  • 1Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to cancellations@mahayaatri.com.
  • 2Refund timeline starts from the date of written cancellation confirmation, not the initial request.
  • 3Booking fees and convenience charges (approx. 2-3%) are non-refundable.
  • 4Festival season and peak season bookings (Dec 20 – Jan 10, Diwali week) are subject to modified policies.
  • 5We strongly recommend travel insurance for all our packages.
  • 6Group bookings of 10+ have a separate cancellation policy. Ask your booking executive.

How do I initiate a cancellation?

Contact our support team via email at cancellations@mahayaatri.com or call +91 98765 43210. We'll process your request within 24 hours.

Can I reschedule instead of cancelling?

Yes! Rescheduling is possible up to 7 days before departure with a nominal fee of ₹2,000 per person. Changes are subject to availability.

What happens if MahaYaatri cancels my trip?

In the rare event we cancel a trip (e.g., natural disaster, government advisory), you'll receive a 100% refund or a full credit note, your choice.

Are flight/train tickets covered?

No, cancellation policy applies only to the land package. Airline/train cancellations are governed by the respective carrier's policy.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method. UPI/Wallet refunds are typically faster.

What if there's a medical emergency?

We handle emergencies with compassion. Please contact us immediately with supporting documents and we'll work out a fair solution.
